Project Description: Garage and Screen Porch renovation. Converted screen porch into year-round living space,
new standing seam copper roof and gutters, new wood windows to match existing historic profile, new wood floor,
beaded wood ceiling and herring-bone panels under windows.
Garage renovation: Reused existing block building, new stucco and stone siding, new standing seam copper awning and
parapet cap, new garage door and concrete slab.
Green Elements:
Sunroom: Reused slate flooring, recycled demo debris, high-performance spray-foam insulation system,
air caulking on framing, high-performance window glazing (structure so well insulated required NO additional
HVAC for year-round use)
Garage: Rebuilt almost unusable structure, used reclaimed limestone water table on exterior stone work,
reused framing material
