Another big thanks to JP and Jane for allowing us the opportunity to use so many great ideas on their home. We are currently monitoring there energy usage and will continue for the next year. With the added 30% volume to the home, their energy bills still are less than the previous year.

Project Description: Kitchen and great room addition. Renovation of two bathrooms, bedroom, kitchen and closets.

Green Elements: Spray foam in new addition, spray foam in existing roof and attic area, added insulation to existing walls, installed two Sterling dual-flush toilets, solar hot water system, new high-efficiency heat pump, all windows high-performance glazing, whole-house water filtration, reused existing brick for chimney back-splash, all CFL lighting, rainwater collection system, locally made cabinets with low VOC finish, recycling center in kitchen, recycled all metal, plastic and cardboard.
