About DESIGNER BUILDERS
Building or remodeling a home requires many important decisions. Designer Builders understands this and works as a partner with homeowners to bring their visions to life. Whether you are looking to update your kitchen or to add a master suite, we are here to help.
Created in 1980 by Ray Rumancik, Designer Builders started as a small renovating, decorative fence and deck building company. Ray and his son Stefan combined their efforts until 1998 when Ray retired. Now led by Stefan Rumancik, the company has expanded its services to custom home building, insulated concrete form systems and residential renovating. Designer Builders has grown to provide services in the Louisville, Lexington and Danville areas.
In order to succeed, Stefan combines his lifetime of construction experience with his Construction Management degree from Eastern Kentucky University. His experience allows him to give homeowners options they may not have previously considered. Stefan is also committed to providing construction services with the least impact on our earth. He and his employees recognize green building methods and do their best to promote them on the job site.
Designer Builders has built a foundation of satisfied customers around Kentucky. Their biggest form of advertising is from other happy customers. Since building and remodeling require so many difficult choices, at least the selection of a qualified contractor is easy.
